Abstract

Prostitutes are women who lack etiquette and decency in having sex according to societal norms. The attitude possessed affects the self-esteem of the woman. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-esteem of the beneficiaries. Data were obtained from three respondents with established criteria, namely a beneficiary who works as a disabled woman and is undergoing rehabilitation at the Wanodyatama Women's Social Service Institute of Surakarta. This study used an approach approach, then the data collection technique used in this study was interviews. The results of this study indicate that respondents have different self-esteem in every aspect, but the respondents experienced good changes. This change is because the respondent is aware of his own behavior and to improve himself to be better, then it can be with interactions that make the three respondents feel valuable for the attention they get
