Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of soft skills, self-efficacy, motivation, and organizational activity on job readiness of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This research is a type of quantitative research. The sample in this study were 100 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling and the number of respondents is determined using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS whose calculations are assisted by the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The evaluation analysis of the Partial Least Square (PLS) model was carried out by evaluating the outer model and evaluating the inner model. The results of data analysis show that: 1) Soft skills have a positive and significant effect on job readiness; 2) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on job readiness; 3) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job readiness; 4) Organizational activity has a positive and significant effect on work readiness. Therefore, work readiness of students can be increased by increasing soft skills, self-efficiency, motivation and organizational activities.
