Abstract
The concept of co-living occupancy is now growing in large cities with high density. Co-living housing is a development of the co-housing concept that has been adapted to the conditions of society in dense urban areas. The concept of co-living itself is not something new in Indonesia. Boarding houses and student dormitories are forms of rental housing that have long existed in Indonesia. Creative Hub became known in Indonesia in 2017 with the construction of the Jakarta Creative Hub (JCH) in 2017, after which other cities such as Bandung and Sukabumi were followed. According to creative hubkit (2018), a creative hub is a place, both physical and virtual, that brings together creative people and acts as a liaison providing space and support for connection, business development and community involvement in the creative, cultural and technological sectors. Artists and creatives in Surakarta have several bases for gathering. One of them is Ndalem Sekarpace which is near the Indonesian Art Institute. For now, most creative industry players take advantage of the coffee shop to work as freelancers or hang out with their colleagues. Can be found in several coffee shops such as Cold N Brew, Allies, Kelana, and the like. To maximize the existing potential, it is necessary to have a place that can accommodate the residential needs as well as the production and marketing of products from these creative industry players.
