Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the role of empowering housewives, utilizing natural resources and using social media as a marketing medium for wedang uwuh to increase sales of wedang uwuh Simbok Sekar Wangi. This type of research uses qualitative research with a research design that is case studies. The results showed that through the empowerment of housewives, the role of housewives in Jenawi Hamlet was as a caretaker and manager of the production of Wedang uwuh Simbok Sekar Wangi Dusun Jenawi. With the aim that housewives are able to play an active, productive and creative role so as to help improve the family economy of the community in Jenawi Hamlet. The second result is by utilizing the surrounding natural resources as materials for manufacturing and processing the production of Wedang Uwuh's business, which includes natural agricultural products and plantations for residents around Jenawi Hamlet. The third result is the development of the wedang uwuh Simbok Sekar Wangi production business through the use of online media, as an online sales and marketing medium. The online media used by Simbok Sekar Wangi are Whatsapp, Facebook, and Shopee.
