Abstract
Inequality in regional development is the difference in development between one region and another, both horizontally and vertically. The problem of income inequality occurs in the sub-regional development around Pantura. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, investment, agglomeration and unemployment rate on the level of inequality in the Regional Unit for the Development of the Pantura Line of Central Java Province in 2013-2019. The data used in this study is a combination of time series and cross section data from 2013-2019. The analytical tool used in this research is panel data regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. Based on the estimation results of panel data regression and hypothesis testing, it was found that simultaneously (Test F) the variables of economic growth, investment, agglomeration and unemployment simultaneously had a significant effect on inequality in the sub-regional development of the Coastal Zone. Based on the t-test, investment and unemployment variables have a significant effect on inequality, while economic growth and agglomeration variables have no significant effect on inequality in the sub-regional development of the Pantura line in 2013-2019.
