Abstract
Work is one of the efforts of humans as social beings to fulfill their needs. Legal protection for workers is indeed necessary, given that equality and justice in the field of employment are often ignored by the government. PT. Tyfountex has given maternity leave rights to its employees, but there are some rights of female workers that have not been fulfilled or some have been fulfilled. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out about the forms of legal protection, corporate responsibility, and Islamic legal views on workers' leave rights for pregnant women. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative analysis research methods, using primary data sources obtained directly from interviews through questions and answers with employees and the management of PT. Tyfountex Surakarta, while the secondary data sources come from legal literature. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the form of legal protection for maternity leave rights for pregnant women workers at PT. Tyfountex, Surakarta, as written in the employment contract, namely the right to maternity leave and wages during the maternity leave period. Based on the results of the study, it is also known that the company's responsibility for the leave rights of pregnant women workers at PT. Tyfountex, Surakarta, includes the provision of maternity leave rights, granting of maternity leave rights, pregnant workers who are not required to work shifts and wages during the maternity leave period. In the view of Islam, the contract or agreement carried out by PT. Tyfountex, Surakarta with employees have complied with the principle of agreement. Because it is in accordance with the clauses that have been agreed previously. However, there are still some rights that have not been implemented in accordance with Article 83 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, namely the granting of the right to breastfeed a child if it must be done during working time.
