Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the influence of the family environment on the entrepreneurial interest of students of Accounting Education, Muhammadiyah University of Ssurakarta class of 2016, (2) determine the effect of self-efficacy on the entrepreneurial interest of students of Accounting Education FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Ssurakarta class of 2016, (3) determine the influence of the family environment and self-efficacy towards entrepreneurial interest in Accounting Education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Ssurakarta batch 2016. This study uses an associative quantitative method because the data obtained from numbers. The population of this study were students of Accounting Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, class of 2016 with a sample of 174 using probability sampling technique using simple random sampling. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test (partial test), F test (simultaneous test) and coefficient of determination test (R2) as well as relative contribution (SR) and effective contribution (SE). The results of multiple regression analysis obtained Y = 9.094 + 0.330X1 + 1.029X2 + e. These results indicate that the family environment and self-efficacy have an influence on interest in entrepreneurship. The conclusions obtained (1) There is a positive and significant influence of the family environment on the interest in entrepreneurship, as evidenced by tcount = 6,022 > ttable = 1,974, (2) There is a positive and significant effect of Self-Efficacy on the interest in entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the results tcount = 13.666 > ttable = 1,974, (3) There is a positive and significant effect of family environment and self-efficacy on interest in entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the results of Fcount = 242.583 > Ftable = 3.049. R2 = 0.739, this means that 73.9% of changes in Entrepreneurial Interest are due to changes in the Family Environment and Self-Efficacy variables, while the remaining 12.6% is due to changes in other variables. SR Family Environment 26.4% and 73.6% Self-Efficacy. Shows that the self-efficacy variable has the greatest influence on the interest in entrepreneurship compared to the family environment.
