Abstract

Background: Health cadres are the spearhead in handling health problems. Cadres are important, knowledge because cadres when delivering public education are very important for early detection of stunting. Purpose: This study was to find out how the knowledge of cadres about stunting at the Kemusu Public Health Center. Methods: This research is descriptive analytic. The sample in this study were 74 health cadres in the work Posyandu in the Kemusu Health Center area which were taken by purposive sampling according to the inclusion criteria, the respondents were active cadres and became respondents. The level of knowledge assessed by a questionnaire contains about 20 questions with correct answers, the higher the knowledge and the lower the knowledge score. Results: The results of this study were Posyandu cadres in the Kemusu area who had sufficient knowledge, namely 47 (63.4%) respondents. cadres are women with 70 (94.6%) respondents. Conclusion: Posyandu cadres have sufficient knowledge about stunting.
