Abstract

Inflation is an indicator of economic stability that has always been a concern for developing countries, especially Indonesia. This study aims to estimate the effect of exports, imports, the exchange rate of the US Dollar on inflation in Indonesia in 2001-2021. The data used in this study is secondary data in the type of 21-year time series data starting from 2001 to 2021 which was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression data analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model, treating inflation as the dependent variable and exports, imports, and exchange rates as independent variables. The results of this study show that the variables of exports, imports and the exchange rate of the US dollar have no effect on inflation.
