Abstract
The management of economic development cannot be separated from human resources, humans are labor, development inputs, as well as consumers of the results of development itself. The main problem in Indonesian employment lies in the level of employment opportunities. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the district minimum wage, population, and GRDP on labor absorption in the cities/regencies of Sukoharjo, Boyolali, Surakarta, Karanganyar, Wonogiri, Sragen, and Klaten (Subosukawonosraten) in 2014-2018. This research method using panel data and from 7 districts in Central Java in the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) shows that the District minimum wage (UMK), Population Number, and GRDP on labor absorption have a significant influence to explainn employment in Subosukawonosraten in the 2014-2018 period.
