Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transaction costs and institutional aspects on rice business performance in flood-prone areas, Klaten Regency. This research is included in quantitative research. The samples collected in this study were 110 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The data used is primary data where data is obtained from respondents' answers through a questionnaire that has been given. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression technique whose calculations were assisted by the SPSS software program. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that transaction costs have a negative effect on the performance of rice businesses in flood-prone areas, Klaten Regency. Institutions have a positive effect on rice business performance in flood-prone areas, Klaten Regency. Transaction costs and institutional aspects simultaneously affect the performance of rice businesses in flood-prone areas, Klaten Regency
