Abstract
Poverty is a problem faced by all countries in the world, especially developing countries, such as Indonesia. Poverty is a complex problem that is influenced by various interrelated factors, including unemployment, health, education, minimum wages, access to goods and services, location, geography, gender, and environmental location. The poverty rate in Central Java is relatively higher than other provinces in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how and how much influence the variables of the Open Unemployment Rate, Health Level, Human Development Index (IPM) and Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) have on the Poverty Level in Central Java in 2019-2021. The analytical method in this study uses panel data analysis that uses data between districts/cities in Central Java Province in 2019-2021 with the help of Eviews 4.1 software. The results of this study indicate that the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) variable has a significant negative effect on the poverty level in Central Java, the Health Level and Human Development Index (IPM) has no significant effect on the poverty level in Central Java, and the Regional Minimum Wage has a positive and significant effect. on the poverty rate in Central Java.
