Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) The application of PPKn learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Klaten (2) Constraints experienced during the PPKn learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Klaten (3) Solutions carried out by PPKn teachers during the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design, data collection using observation, interviews and documentation, data validity test using triangulation of sources and techniques. The research process, starting with the selection of the topic / theme to be researched as research material, then after everything is finished, from making a proposal to asking for approval with the school. The next step is to go into the field to find and collect data through sources with the instruments that have been prepared. The results of this study indicate that PPKn learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Klaten used an online system or blended learning by utilizing the WhatsApp, Google Meet and Google Form applications. One of the obstacles or constraints that occur in the implementation of online learning is that students are unable to access the internet due to economic factors, such as being unable to buy internet gadgets / quotas. One of the solutions used to overcome these obstacles is to propose to policy makers to provide subsidies for grants for underprivileged students.
