Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. The population in this study were employees of PT. Sinarfood Healthindo Sukoharjo totaled a sample of 53 people by using purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative with measuring instruments in the form of a Transformational Leadership Scale and a Performance Scale. The data analysis technique uses the product moment. Based on the results obtained the correlation coefficient (0.793) and (p) is 0.000 (p <0.01) which indicates that there is a very significant positive relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. The categorization results show transformational leadership and employee performance at PT. Sinarfood Healthindo in the medium category.
