Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the use of problem-based learning student worksheets in Basic Accounting subjects; (2) to determine students' critical thinking skills after using problem-based learning student worksheets in Basic Accounting subjects. This study uses descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted on class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta. Sources of data were obtained from interviews with resource persons, namely teachers of economic subjects at SMKN 1 Surakarta and students. The data technique uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis which includes the steps to process data, analyze data and find results. The results showed that: (1) Use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Student Worksheets in Basic Accounting Subjects in Class X SMKN 1 Surakarta was carried out starting from the stage of organizing students on problems, organizing students to study, independent and group investigations, finding and develop solutions / answers to problems, and conclude the results of solving problems; (2) The use of Project Based Learning (PBL) based Student Worksheets in Basic Accounting subjects supports students' critical thinking skills. Most of the students at the end of the lesson had excellent critical thinking skills with an average score of 83.5%. This means that PBL-based Student Worksheets are able to foster students' critical thinking skills well.
