Abstract
The research objectives were to (1) Describe soft skills in creative learning for students of SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. (2) Inhibiting factors and supporting factors for the soft skills of creative learning for students of SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta for the 2020/2021 school year. (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles in the soft skills of creative learning for students of SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta for the 2020/2021 school year. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation of sources. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, conclusion / verification. The results showed that (1) Soft skills in students are shown by communication skills including the courage to ask questions, express opinions critically, provide suggestions for improving creative learning methods. (2) Difficulty understanding and student saturation. The high interest in student learning and creative learning methods in basic accounting subjects. (3) The solutions made by teachers and students are the use / utilization of instructional media, giving rewards, providing creative and innovative games / quiz methods. Ask questions that do not understand, be more thorough in working on questions, cool down by stretching / watching motivational videos. Soft skills in creative learning help increase students' self-confidence in communicating in front of many people, hone critical thinking in discussions, and students dare to give opinions / suggestions to teachers regarding creative learning methods in the learning process.
