Abstract

Currently the whole world is being shocked by the corona virus outbreak. WHO (World Health Organization) states that the corona virus or Covid-19 is a world pandemic. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Indonesian education sector has resulted in closed schools and universities. The teaching and learning process is carried out at home through online (brave) / long distance learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of online learning for low-grade teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic, find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing online learning, and find out the solutions made by teachers in overcoming the obstacles they face. This type of research is a qualitative study using a phenomenological research design. Sources of data in this study are data from interviews. Data collection techniques using documentation, and interviews. The validity of the data in this study is the triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research are the implementation of online learning carried out through the WhatsApp group, by means of the teacher carrying out learning activities through the WhatsApp group. The teacher performs the opening, core, and closing activities through the whatsapp group. The teacher gives assignments via the whatsapp group. Supporting factors for the implementation of online learning at SD Negeri 12 Purwodadi include parents having gadgets, students can operate gadgets, teachers are facilitated with internet quota from schools, internet network is not too bad because most of the teachers live in cities, and most of the parents while the inhibiting factor is the enthusiasm of learning of students, parents cannot accompany children while learning, there are still some problems with the internet network because they live in villages, parents have limitations in using gadgets, students begin to get bored, and lazy to send assignments given by the teacher. The solution to dealing with these obstacles is that the teacher motivates students by providing a YouTube link to keep the enthusiasm for learning at home, the teacher contacts parents personally and comes to the student's house, and the teacher explains the steps in operating the application on a mobile phone.
