Abstract
Breastfeeding can bring benefit to the baby, mother, family, community and country. For babies aged 0-12 months, breast milk acts as the main food for babies, because it contains more than 60% of the baby's needs, and consists of the ideal food composition for babies. In addition, breast milk is more immune to disease, the relationship between the mother and the baby is closer, accelerates the healing of premature babies, one of the motivational factors for mothers to exclusively breastfeed their babies, because motivation is the strength of the mother both internally and externally that motivates someone to achieve this. specific purpose. Motivation Support from the closest people, such as husband and family, plays an important role in relation to the psychological problems of breastfeeding mothers. This study aimed to determine the correlation between mother's motivation and family support in exclusive breastfeeding for mothers working in factories and Lilis Grogol, Sukoharjo. This type of research was an observational study, which explained the correlation between the hypothesis testing variables that had been formulated previously. The research design used cross sectional (cross sectional). The sample of this research was 72 respondents. The type of data in this study was quantitative. The quantitative data consisted of mother's motivation and support in giving exclusive breastfeeding at the Dan Lilis Grogol Sukoharjo factory. This research data collection used interviews and recording. Analysis of the research data using the chi-square test. Based on the results of the chi-square test, the correlation between maternal motivation and family support in exclusive breastfeeding for mothers working at the factory and Liris Grogol Sukoharjo showed a p-value of 0.001 <0.05 meant that Ho was rejected. which shows that there was no correlation between family support and exclusive breastfeeding for mothers working at the Dan Liris, Grogol, Sukoharjo factory. Distribution of family support for exclusive breastfeeding, most respondents have high family supported and provided exclusive breastfeeding as many as 18 (54,55 %) respondents. There was a correlation between mother's motivation in giving exclusive breastfeeding to mothers who work at the Dan Liris Grogol Sukoharjo factory. There was no family support correlation in exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers at the Dan Liris Grogol, Sukoharjo factory. Keywords: mother's motivation, family support, exclusive ASI
