Abstract

Parenting is a way or technique for parents in educating their children, where methods and techniques are carried out systematically, intensively and periodically. In this study, parenting parents will be associated with Islamic education. Islamic education can be said to be education based on the Qur'an and Hadith. In general, the pattern of care used in Prampelan Village is divided into authoritarian, democratic and permissive parenting. While Islamic religious education includes objectives, materials, learning methods. Researchers researching parenting and teaching of Islamic education in Prampelan Village aims to describe parenting practices applied by parents and teaching Islamic education for children in Prampelan Village, Karangrejo Subdistrict, Magetan District and Describe supporting factors and obstacles to parenting and teaching Islamic education for children in the village Prampelan Karangrejo District Magetan Regency. This research is a qualitative research using field study in Prampelan Village, Karangrejo District, Magetan Regency. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation and documentation. While the analysis of the data used, among others, deductive method that starts from general symptoms and then reduced to specific parts so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the results of research that has been done by researchers, then researchers can draw conclusions that the pattern of parenting parents used on their children in the Village Prampelan include authoritarian parenting, democratic, and permissive. Each parenting used has a different impact on the development of each child related to Islamic religious education. Meanwhile, the teaching of Islamic education by each parent has a difference. Some stimulated to be active in Islamic organizations, to take part in Islamic activities in the village, to become teenagers of the mosque, some to send their children to private tutoring, and even to teach their children independently
