Widaddien Nabila/A410160101. Analisis Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Serupa Pisa Siswa Kelas X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. Reasearch Paper. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University Muhammadiyah Surakarta. June, 2020. In solving problems in PISA-like problems, students need mathematical reasoning abilities. Reasoning is a way of thinking, lines of thought, raised to get statements and produce conclusions. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of novelty, flexibility, sensibility, and mathematical foundation in reasoning owned by students. The type of research that will be used is qualitative research with descriptive type. The study was conducted at Surakarta 3 Muhammadiyah High School in the academic year 2019/2020. The subjects of this study were the 17th grade students of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Research data obtained from student worksheets and interviews. The results were obtained: 1) subjects X1 and X2 were capable of high mathematical reasoning; 2) subjects X3 and X4 have moderate mathematical reasoning abilities; 3) and subject X5 and X6 has low mathematical reasoning ability. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning ability of students in working on similar problems PISA consists of three categories namely high, medium, and low.
