Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction with organizational commitment in generation z. The subjects in this study were Generation Z. This research method is a quantitative approach and using sampling techniques with purposive sampling with the criteria of generation z who are working for a minimum of six months and a maximum age of 25 years who work and live in Solo Raya. Data collection tools used in this study are job satisfaction scale and organizational commitment scale. Data analysis was performed by product moment correlation analysis using SPSS for windows. Based on data analysis between job satisfaction and organizational commitment variables, the coefficient (rxy) value is 0.569 and sig. (p) equal to 0,000 (p <0.1), which shows that there is a very significant correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment in generation z. The correlation coefficient is positive, which means that the higher a person's job satisfaction, the stronger organizational commitment they have. The categorization of organizational commitment in z generation is moderate and the job satisfaction is high. The effective contribution in this study shows that the job satisfaction variable affects the organizational commitment variable by 32.4% and 67.6% is influenced by other variables.
