Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical logical thinking skills in solving problems with the three-variable linear equation system (SPLTV) in terms of student learning styles. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 3 students had a visual learning style, 3 students had an auditory learning style and 3 students had a kinesthetic learning style from class X MIPA 1 MA Negeri 1 Sragen which was selected according to the criteria of the level. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, tests and interviews. Technical analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students' mathematical logical thinking skills in solving problems of linear systems of three variables in terms of student learning styles had differences. The different types of learning styles affect the students' mathematical logical thinking ability in solving SPLTV problems. It is shown that students with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles with high, medium and low mathematical abilities have differences and similarities in students' mathematical logical thinking abilities. Overall students in the category of high logical thinking can classify, compare, calculate, and draw conclusions correctly and completely. Students think logically are able to classify, compare, calculate, draw conclusions correctly but are incomplete. Students thinking logically low can classify, compare, count.
