Abstract

The Tapak Batu Lais Coastal Area in North Bengkulu can be developed, considering its strategic location and the beach is a recreational location for local youth. This beach is held annually at each Eid al-Fitr holiday. Every year there is an increase in visitors to 5000 inhabitants / day on this beach. The problem that is happening now is that the development of the coastal area of North Bengkulu City is not yet optimal, especially the coastal area of Tapak Batu Lais as a recreation area. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to design recreational waterfront that can make Tapak Batu Lais Beach as a center for recreational and educational tourism? The purpose of this design is to design Recreational Waterfront in Tapak Batu Beach by optimizing fishermen's products of other natural resources and designing family recreation tourism and educating the sale and processing of fresh fish into local specialties. The final result is the birth of the concept of developing recreational waterfront on Lais beach tread stone tourism object in North Bengkulu Regency.
