Abstract

This study aims to describe the process, effectiveness, constraints, and solutions for the application of the socialization of Indonesian Democratic values through audio visual media and modification of the strategy of the Power of Two combination of Active Debate on Youth Youth Youth Groups in Semampir village, Pati district, Pati regency in 2020. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest Posttest design with a sample of 20 people using a Quota Purposive Random Sampling sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used test, observation, and documentation methods. Test the validity of the test instruments in this study using the rough number Correlation Product Moment formula. The reliability test of the test instrument uses the formula KR.20. The prerequisite test in this study used the normality test. Data analysis using T-Test. The results showed that the t-count was greater than the table that was 10.7911> 2.086 with a significance level of 0.05. The average value of Pretest 41.25 increased to 67 at Posttest. Based on the results of the two Pretest and Posttest data are then compared so that the difference value is 25.75. Based on this it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by Ho is rejected Ha accepted, meaning that there is a difference in understanding the values of Indonesian Democracy between before (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest) in the form of socialization through audio visual media and modification of the strategy The Power of Two Debate combination Active in Youth Karang Taruna Semampir village or there is an increase in the average value between before and after treatment. Constraints faced in this study are mainly time constraints related to research implementation. An alternative solution to overcome obstacles is to do time management well so that the research stages can be carried out optimally.
