Abstract

Water is the most important substance in human life and will not be replaced by other compounds. Therefore, for human water becomes one of the daily necessities that should always exist to be consumed as drinking water in maintaining the health of the body. This is what makes the business people choose to use water as their business opportunities by producing a gallon water or commonly called a refill drinking water depot because it is considered as an alternative to practical drinking water, efficiency and affordable price. However, consumers should ensure that the feasibility of drinking water is in compliance with the quality standards for drinking water or not. Based on regulation of the Minister of Health No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 concerning the governance of quality of drinking water mention that to maintain the quality of drinking water consumed by the public should be carried out quality supervision of drinking water externally and internally. The purpose of this research is to describe the legal protection of consumers of drinking water refill at Tirta QTA Depot.
