Abstract

This study aims to improve accounting learning performance through the index card match learning model to students of class X AK 1 at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two stages of the cycle, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Subjects in this study in students of class X AK 1 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong as many as 26 students. The indicator of success in this study is that if 85% of students can achieve the value of the minimum learning criteria (MLC), which is 75. The result of the study indicate that student accounting learning outcomes have increased. Before taking action, student accounting learning outcomes of 19,23%, in the first cycle accounting student learning outcomes increased to 50,00%, in the second cycle accounting learning outcomes increased to 88,46%. Based on research data it can be concluded that the method of learning index card match can improve accounting learning performance of students of class X AK 1 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong.
