Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the aspects of personality, obstacles, and solutions in the application of the personality aspects of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Mantingan Ngawi in the academic year 2019/2020. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers, and students. The object of this research is the personality aspects of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers who can be emulated by students (Case study in SMP Negeri 1 Mantingan Ngawi in the academic year 2019/2020). Data collection techniques in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity by triangulating data sources and techniques. Data analysis applies an interactive analysis model. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) Personality aspects of PPKn teachers namely the teacher wears clothes according to Islamic law, teaches a figure and provides guidance, behaves according to norms, conveys values, teacher maturity affects student enthusiasm, adheres to work ethics, teacher keep learning, and evaluate yourself. 2) Constraints on the implementation of the personality aspects of PPKn teachers, namely teachers do not wear the hijab when outside school, the teacher's personal factors, lack of habituation in the school environment, teacher motivation up and down, teachers are not eager to improve work ethic, lack of useful teaching, commitment low teacher, and have different motives. 3) Solutions that must be done to overcome obstacles are recitation, seminars, habituation in schools, socialization, workshops, and coaching.
