Abstract
Al-Qur'an is a miracle for all people, ages, nations, generations and races. Al-Qur'an is needed for anyone, because al-Qur'an is the lantern of the heart, the encouragement of life, the solace, the cure for thirst and the healing of the soul. In order to realize these educational goals, the government is making innovative efforts in education. One innovation is the superior class. In connection with the implementation of the flagship program, at present many schools are competing in improving the quality of the flagship program, one of the program is tahfidz al-Qur'an. Tahfidz al-Qur'an is one of the programs favored by Islamic-based private schools. One of the schools that favor the program is SMA MTA Surakarta. SMA MTA Surakarta has a tahfidz program which is a superior program for students to memorize the Qur'an. This tahfidz program has a learning syllabus that aims to spur students in completing memorization targets in one period. The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) How the implementation of tahfidz al-Qur’an program in SMA MTA Surakarta? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the tahfidz al-Qur’an in SMA MTA Surakarta?. As for the purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program in SMA MTA Surakarta, and to describe what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SMA MTA Surakarta. This research is a field research (Field Research) with a qualitative approach. The qualitative approach method is descriptive that is a step to identify, explain the implementation of Al-Qur'an's tahfidz program in the SMA MTA Surakarta. To obtain the data needed to achieve research objectives, the authors use three data collection tools, namely observation, interviews and documentation The conclusion of this research is the implementation of the program of tahfidz al-Qur'an at SMA MTA Surakarta held in schools and dormitories. Rote memorization while at the dormitory is done every day at the time after dawn prayer and after evening prayer ’. At school the deposit is done 3 times a week and added 2 times in the afternoon with different schedules each class. The factors that supporting the implementation of Al-Qur'an's tahfidz program in SMA MTA Surakarta are facilities from the school or the dormitory and the environment.
