Abstract

Fisheries have an important role in efforts to improve the quality and quantity of production that aims to increase income and living standards of people in Indonesia. This research is aimed at making an automatic fish feeder that reduces workload, costs and working time. The tools must be made according to the needs of fish farmers. Therefore the QFD method is appropriate for this study. The Voice of Customer analyzed is then processed using the House of Quality to produce a design of tools and components using an automatic dynamo drive system based on the Arduino Microcontroller. Based on the test results of the automatic fish feeder, the results show that the tool can reduce the workload by accommodating as much as 25 kg of feed,saving costs up to Rp 734, - per day, and spending 25 seconds for feeding 1 fish pond which makes this automatic fish feed tool minimize work time.
