Abstract

Teacher is person who has an important role to develope critically thingking of student ability with the purpose increased the succes of learners. The aim of this study was to determine capability of SMA Negeri Karangpandan biology teacher in developing critically thingking ability 2017/2018. The research is descriptive. The sampling technique is purposive sampling study by observed biology teacher X in school. Based on the research that has been done show that the aspect give simple clarification capability of teacher include very good less (15,25%), give continue clarification is very good less(11,30%) and strategy tactics is good less (21,45%). Therefor, based on the total average the capability SMA Negeri Karangpandan biology teacher in developed critically thingking ability student X 2017/2018 at categorizied very good less (16%).
