Abstract

Winda Pitaloka / A520150038. RELATIONSHIP OF BREAKFAST HABITS WITH LEARNING CONCENTRATION OF TK B CHILDREN AT TK PERTIWI 01 KRASAK TERAS, BOYOLALI DISTRICT. Essay. Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. July, 2019. This study aims to determine the relationship between breakfast habits and the concentration of learning group B children in Pertiwi 01 Krasak Kindergarten, Teras, Boyolali district. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlation design. Data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaire. The observation sheet instrument was used to measure the concentration of children's learning variables while the questionnaire to measure the variables of children's breakfast habits. This research was conducted in May 2019 at Pertiwi 01 Krasak Kindergarten with 15 children in group B. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis for data presentation and product moment correlation for hypothesis testing. The results of data analysis using the product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS15 obtained a calculation of 0.974. This result is greater than rtable at the 5% significance level which is 0.532. In this study, there was a significant relationship between breakfast habits and the concentration of learning of kindergarten children B at Pertiwi 01 Krasak Kindergarten, Teras, Boyolali Regency. The effective contribution of breakfast habits to the concentration of children's learning in Pertiwi 01 Krasak kindergarten is r2 x 100%, which is 94.87%.
