Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a business using the Business Model Canvas approach and provide a good business strategy proposal for UKM Brownies Cinta. The benefits of this study are 1) To provide an understanding of Business Model Canvas as a solution to make alternative business strategies for business people, 2) Able to communicate knowledge and insights about the sciences obtained during the lecture bench, 3) Provide references to future researchers. This study uses the Business Model Canvas method and SWOT analysis. The object of the research was conducted at the UKM Brownies Cinta on Jl. Muwardi, Badranasri RT /XI, Cangakan, Kab. Karanganyar. The data collection method is obtained by observation, interview, and questionnaire. The results showed that UKM Brownies Cinta was in quadrant II with IFAS value (0,795) and EFAS value (-0,027) indicating a strong organization but will experience a big challenges. The recommendation of the strategy given is Strategy Diversification, which signifies UKM Brownies Cinta in a steady state but will experience a number of severe challenges, it is estimated that the organization will have difficult to continue to run if it only relying on the previous strategy.. Therefore it is recommended to multiply the variety of strategies.
