Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out whether there is a contribution of entrepreneurial knowledge to the interest in entrepreneurship in Accounting Education students of the 2015 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta; 2) find out whether there is a peer environmental contribution to the interest in entrepreneurship in Accounting Education students of the 2015 Muhammadiyah University Surakarta; 3) find out whether there is a contribution of entrepreneurial knowledge and the environment to the interest in entrepreneurship accounting students of 2015 Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. The type of research used in this study is associative quantitative research and non-experimental research using surveys. The data in this study are primary data, methods of collecting data using a questionnaire. This research was conducted at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Accounting Education Study Program. The population in this study was the 2015 UMS Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Faculty Students. The samples in this study were 146 determined by the Krici table. The sampling technique in this study was already using rondom sampling. The method of data analysis in this study is to use multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant contribution between entrepreneurial knowledge and the interest in entrepreneurship with a value of 4.311> t table 1.976 with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05 and an SE value of 18.79% and an SR value of 68.57%. There is a significant contribution between peers' environment towards interest in entrepreneurship with a value of 2,308> t table 1,976 with a p-value of 0.002 <0.05 and an SE value of 8.59% and an SR value of 31.36%. From the results of the F test, the results show that there is a significant contribution between entrepreneurship knowledge and peer environment to the interests of entrepreneurship, with Fcount of 26,985 with p-value of 0,000 <0.05 and SE value of 27.38% and SR value of 99.93%. From the results of the R2 test results obtained at 0.274%, so that knowledge of entrepreneurship and peer environment has an effect of 27.4%.
