Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) To determine the increase in student learning motivation towards the use of the student method of Economic lesson achievement division (stad) monetary policy material for students of class XI IPS 1 SMA N 3 Boyolali .; 2) To determine the increase in student learning outcomes on the use of the student method of Economic lesson achievement division (stad) monetary policy material for students of class XI IPS 1 Boyolali High School 3. This research includes the type of action research model. The subjects of this study were students of XI IPS 1 SMA N 3 Boyolali class of 2018/2019 as many as 37 students. Data collection techniques using tests, documentation, interviews and observations. The results of the study show that the application of Student Team Achievement Devision (STAD) Learning Method can increase the Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Students of Class XI IPS 1 in SMA N 3 Boyolali Academic Year 2018/2019. The average score of student learning motivation increased to 74.66% in the first cycle from 48.46% in the initial condition. The average score of Learning Motivation increased by 9.46% from the average Learning Motivation first cycle at 74.66% to 84.12% in the second cycle. Economic learning outcomes also increased from 73.85 in the initial conditions increased to 74.86 after the first cycle, then increased to 91.62 after the second cycle. The average learning outcomes which reached 91.62 have exceeded the KKM of 70 16.77% from first cycle of 74.86% to 91.62% in second cycle with no more students who scored under the KKM (70).
