Abstract

Nowadays, there has been some psychology students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta are plunged into the world of entrepreneurship. The desire to please their parents, lectures and finance background for various other reasons students decide to be entrepreneur. Helping a friend, apply knowledge, and assist parents in entrepreneurship is the first step students to create their own businesses. With this background, students get motivated include achievement motivation to start self-employment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of achievement motivation and entrepreneurship interest of psychology student grade of 2013 at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The method in this research used the quantitative method. The amount of the research subjects was 80 respondents of physchology students college grade of 2013 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The methods of data collection used the scale. Based on the results of analyzed using product moment, it was obtained the are effective contribution of achievement motivation on achievement interest as much as 28,4%. From the results of this research, it was also known that achievement motivation and the achievement interest of physchology students college grade of 2013 were categorized as high.
