Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of story telling toward listening ability at the group A in TK DARUSSALAM II KARTASURA in the academic year of 2017/2018. This research method was quantitative method. This research used quantitative method. This research used experimental research with pre - experimental design. Pre - experimental design by using one group pretest-posttest design. The subject in this research was group A that consisted of 18 children. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used t test by SPSS 15.0 for windows. The result of analysis using t test was t value – 31,429 < - t table – 2, 110. It meant that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it could be concluded that there was the influence of story telling toward listening ability .
