Abstract
This study aims to describe the management of a successful national exam program on Mathematics subjects in Islamic boarding school-based schools, such as program planning, program implementation, and the results of the program so that the objectives of the school can be achieved. This research is important because through successful UN programs it can help to improve the results of the school national examination. This research is a research with qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data collected is data regarding the planning of national examination programs, the implementation of national examination programs, and the results of national examination programs. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study (1) planning a successful national exam program includes a school planning program: development of the school curriculum structure, tutoring, tryout, study camp, weekend study (2) implementing a successful national examination program includes: developing the school curriculum structure by increasing the allocation of Mathematics lessons to 6 hours per week, tutoring for 4 months, the implementation of tryout 8 times, compaction hours lessons with study camp and weekend study (3) the results of a successful national exam program on mathematics subjects: the average number of national examination scores 301.60; average subject 75.40; the average national examination score for mathematics subjects is 76.21. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the UN success program by schools is very effective to improve the results of the average school national examination. As for mathematics subjects, the percentage of material absorption in the School is higher than the percentage of absorption capacity at the Regency, Provincial and National levels. Starting from this research, it is expected that the school can plan a better UN success program, so that it can improve the results of the UN score.
