Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the negative influence of work stress on employee performance, Analyze the positive influence of locus of control (LOC) on employee performance, Analyze the influence of locus of control (LOC) moderate work stress on employee performance. This research is a quantitative research, which uses data collection techniques through questionnaires with 1-5 likert scale. Sampling in this study uses a sample based on purposive sampling. with a population of all Nurses of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital totaling 500 people while the sample in this study amounted to 63 Nurses of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital. By using moderated regression analysis. Based on the results of this study shows the results of the first study the effect of significant work stress on employee performance. Secondly there is a significant influence of Locus of control on employee performance. Third, there is the effect of Locus of control as a moderating variable on work stress on employee performance. This means that the research model has good goodness of fit. This model is suitable to be used to predict employee performance.
