Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the contribution of the experience of Business Work Practices (PKB) to the Work Readiness of Accounting Education Students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University of 2015. 2) the contribution of Soft Skills Ability to Work Readiness for Accounting Education Students of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta 2015 Force. 3 ) contribution to the Experience of Business Work Practices (PKB) and Soft Skills Ability to Work Readiness for Accounting Students of Surakarta Muhammadiyah University of 2015. This research includes associative quantitative research. The population in the study was all students of Accounting Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in 2015, as many as 229 students. Samples were taken as many as 135 students with Proportional Probability Sampling method or by lottery method. The required data is obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Previous questionnaires were tested and tested for validity and tested for reliability. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and Relative and Effective Contribution. The results of regression analysis obtained the regression line equation: Y = 2.919 + 0.134X1 + 0.213X2. Equations show that work readiness is influenced by the Experience of Business Work Practices (PKB) and Soft Skills Capabilities. The conclusions obtained are: 1) Experience of Business Work Practices (PKB) has a positive and significant effect on Work Readiness in students. 2 Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, which is 4.257> 1.960 and the probability value <0.05, which is 0.000 with a Relative Contribution of 71.5% and Effective Contribution of 27.7%. 2) Soft Skills ability has a positive and significant effect on Work Readiness in students. Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, namely 2.407> 1.960 and the probability value <0.05, which is 0.017 with a Relative Donation of 28.5% and Effective Donation of 11%. 3) Experience of Business Work Practices (PKB) and Soft Skills Ability together with Work Readiness for students. Based on the results of the significance test of multiple linear regression (F test), it is known that Fcount> Ftable, which is 15.156> 3,000 and the significance value <0.05, is 0.000 with the Determination Coefficient (R2) 38.7%.
