Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The effect of learning attitudes on the effectiveness of student learning (2) The influence of the family environment on the effectiveness of student learning (3) The influence of learning attitudes and family environment on the effectiveness of student learning. The type of research used is quantitative. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura Academic Year 2018/2019 who took 179 subjects in economics with a sample of 119 students taken by proportional random sampling method lottery. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method that has been tested by validity and reliability testing and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination, effective contribution and relative contribution. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are: 1) there is a significant effect of learning attitudes on the effectiveness of student learning based on t test obtained from the value of tcount> t table that is 6.625> 1.981 with a significance probability value <0.05, namely 0.000 and Effective Contributions (SE ) of 56.5%. 2) there is a significant influence on the family environment on the effectiveness of student learning based on t test obtained from the value of tcount> ttable that is 3.331> 1.981 with a significance probability value <0.05, namely 0.001 and Effective Contribution (SE) 27.6%. 3) there is a significant effect of learning attitudes and family environment on the effectiveness of student learning based on the F test obtained from the Fcount> Ftable, namely = 305.996> 3.081 with a significance probability value <0.05 which is 0.000 with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 84.1% while the remaining 15.9% is influenced by changes in other variables outside this research.
