Abstract

Abstract Sales of companion books of CV.Hasan Pratama in the last four semesters show a decline, especially in the sales of companion books in the junior high school curriculum in 2013. The formulation of strategies using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the company is processed by using IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix, EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix, SWOT matrix, and lastly QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The results of the processing of various methods resulted in several proposed strategies that improved the quality of the book, in terms of materials, neatness, content, cover, and price, then market development by using the same distributor in an area, conducting book quality testing in accordance with the standards set by the government, developing new products with different market segments, improving the quality of human resources, especially in editorial sections, building better relationships with raw material suppliers. �Keywords: Internal Factors, External Factors, SWOT, QSPM
