Abstract

Science process skills are a set of skills that scientists use in conducting scientific investigations. The purpose of this research was to know the science process skill of Biology faculty student of FKIP UMS on Animal Anatomy Practice of academic year 2017/2018. The study was conducted in three exercises by taking four classes on Animal Anatomy Practice. The research instrument used was a science skill assessment sketch that contains seven aspects: observation, data recording, object measurement, manipulation or prediction, skills in implementing procedures, instructional skills, oral and written communication skills. This study used data according to aspects of the science process skills and descriptive analysis conducted to determine the description of data to be analyzed. The result of analysis of science process skill in Animal Anatomical practice was 78,13. Therefore, it can be concluded that the science process skill of biology teacher candidate FKIP UMS on Animal Anatomy Practice had been included in good category.
