Abstract

Learning activities in early childhood is the development of a number of learning experiences through play activities that can enrich the child's experience of various things. Competence that must be owned by one of them is professional competence . This study aimed to determine the professional competence of early childhood education teachers in the implementation of learning in the district of Kartasura. This type of research was qualitative. Data in this research were school identity, student profile, and related to learning activity. Techniques and instruments of data collection include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the professional competence of early childhood education teachers was good enough that was in accordance with the professional competence of teachers while teaching. one of which the teacher understands the teaching materials that exist in the school curriculum, understanding the structure, concepts and learning methods as well as understand the eyes of related learning and apply the concepts in everyday life.
