Abstract

Abstract The development of cities in Indonesia, which was originally the villagebecame a city district, then became a city district, and later even became an industrial city,  it’s continues to be affected by diverse cultures and new products, including technology products and products of entertainment  places  such as nightclubs and discotheques. Actually is legal when one wants to enjoy life, but when the level of consumption of goods and entertainment services has been excessive and not just based on solely needs but just to pursue pleasure and satisfaction, so that it is included in the hedonistic lifestyle.  The aim of this research is to describe the hedonistic lifestyle on students who do clubbing. The research question thar revealed is how hedonistic lifestyle on students who do clubbing ? As for the criteria of informant in this research as follows: a) the informant is a student; b) informant do clubbing; c) consists of the male and female students as many as four informants. The sampling technique that used is snow ball sampling, namely putting a sample in manner of researcher to know an informant, then from the informant of researcher acquire a referrence from other friend, and so on. Data collection is conducted by manner of interviews and observations.This study’s result to illustrate that the hedonistic lifestyle conducted by students who do the clubbing. As for the aspects that examined from hedonistic lifestyle that committed students as clubber is the activity questions, the interest question, as well as the opinion question. The overall, it’s acquired he descripstion that the four informants that undergo a hedonist lifestyle cause initially they follows the friends, then became a habit and eventually became a symbol of identity and prestige as the gaul and modern.
