Abstract

This study has two purposes, namely to describe the shape and numbers of the use of political news disfemias in Solopos and its implications for learning Indonesian in high school. The subject of this research is political news on Solopos. The object of this study was the use of dysphemia found in Solopos political news. Data collection techniques in this study using literature study method. The data was analyzed with data corpus method. The result of this research are : (1) the language form of dysphaemia as form as additional words are 29 times, basic words are 29 times, reduplication of 3 times, and compound word at a time. The most dominant linguistic form of this research is addition words and basic word. (2) The sense value contained in this research were 33 friendly connotation, 13 rough connotation, 4 inappropriate connotation, 5 dangerous connotation, and 7 high connotation. The most dominant sense in this study is the sense of friendliness.
