Abstract
In this’ modern era, a lot of people need public transportation to take them from one place to another, without them removing their vehicles and just ordering them through the Online Application. For example of the new innovations in the era of Land Transportation through Online Application is GO-JEK. Improving the quality of online transportation services is also important to do, in addition to making passengers comfortable and safe as well as to increase public interest to use online transportation services. In addition, the legal protection of passengers is very important. Because there are still some online transport that perform actions that can cause losses to passengers, whether it is a real loss experienced by passengers (material losses) and losses are immaterial. This research is a legal research done with the approach of law (statute approach) which analyzed qualitatively then presented descriptively. This study aims to analyze the legal protection of users or passengers of online transport services, especially GO-JEK. Keywords: Transportation, Online Transportation, Legal Protection
