Abstract

According to Article 1 Sub-Article 8 of Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19/M-Dag/Per/5/2009 concerning Registration of Manuals and Warranty Cards/ After Sales Warranty in Indonesian for Telematics and Electronics Products, post-in Indonesian language, hereinafter referred to as the guarantee card is a card that states the availability of spare parts availability and after-sales service of telematics and electronics products. In practice, the warranty card using a standard clause. The raw clause is a unilateral agreement that is often detrimental to consumers and put the consumer on the bargaining position is weak. Each warranty card uses a standard clause, and even includes an exoneration clause. That is in the warranty card of Samsung, Nokia, Kirin, AndromaxE2 dan BenQ. This research is a legal research conducted with a doctrinal approach that is analyzed qualitatively with deductive reasoning. The result of the analysis are then presented descriptively, because it intends to explain in detail the existing phenomenon of warranty profile in electronic products. This study aims to analyze and describe the warranty profile in electronics products.
