Abstract
Being committed to the organization where the individual works is one of the driving factors to produce good performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between organizational commitment with performance, so the authors propose the hypothesis "There is a positive relationship between organizational commitment with performance". Subjects in this study are employees of the engineering department at PT. Frisian Flag Indonesia Plant Ciracas. which amounted to 60. Sampling technique is a purposive sampling technique that is taken as a sample is in accordance with the criteria set by the researcher. Measuring tool used to reveal the research variables there are 2 kinds of measuring instruments, namely: (1) the scale of organizational commitment, and (2) Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Data analysis in this research use product moment correlation. Based on the results of the analysis, the correlation between organizational commitment with performance (rxy) of -0.178 with p = 0.108 (p> 0.05), this means there is no relationship between organizational commitment with employee performance. That is, found that the employees of PT. Frisian Flag Indonesia has no relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance. Empirical average of organizational commitment variable equal to 189,09 with hypothetical average equal to 190. So empirical mean <hypothetical mean that illustrates that generally subjects have organizational commitment being. Furthermore from the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of the company obtained empirical average of 31.40 which is also in the category of being.
