Abstract

In this research aims to (1) Test the effect Problem Based Learning Strategy and Reciprocal Teaching on learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) Test the effect of learning styles on mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) Test the interaction between Problem Based Learning strategy, Reciprocal Teaching , and learning styles on learning outcomes in mathematics. This research is a quantitative research with quasi experimental design. The population of this research are eight classes, class VII of SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta year 2017/2018. Two class research samples are experiment class and control class. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling by lottery. Methods of data collection using tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used two way analysis of variance with unequal cell. Test the prerequisite of normality and homogeneity. Advanced test using Scheffe 'method. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is effect Problem Based Learning strategy and Reciprocal Teaching on learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) there is no effect learning style of student on learning outcomes in mathematics, and (3) there is no interaction Problem Based Learning strategy, Reciprocal Teaching, and learning styles of student on learning outcomes.in mathematics.
