Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work motivation, leadership style and on the performance of employees at the Department of Population and Registrar of Klaten Regency partially or collectively. The type of research is Quantitative research, with population of employees of Population and Civil Registry Office of Klaten Regency as many as 50 employees, with a sample of 50 people. Sampling using sampling technique saturated or total sampling. Methods of collecting research data using questionnaires with Likert scale. Technical analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on hypothetical test of Work Motivation variable (X1) does not have significant influence on brand switching (Y), evidenced by t count value equal to 0,329 smaller than ttable 2.011. Based on the hypothesis test, leadership style variables have a significant effect on employee performance, evidenced by the tcount of 2 3.369 which is much larger than the ttable 2.011. F test shows that there is simultaneous influence between work motivation variable and leadership style on employee performance as evidenced by the value of Fcount 6.953 which is bigger compared to Ftable (3.23) with significant level 0,002 smaller than 0,05. Based on Test R2 has a value of 0.228 which means that 22.8% employee performance is influenced by work motivation variables and leadership style while the rest of 73.2% influenced by other factors that did not participate investigated in this study.
